Best Embedded Robot Exhibition/Competition

Whether the target field of application is medicine, agriculture, construction, automotive or space exploration, robotics is and has been one of the leading areas of interest in engineering for years. Engineers all around the globe appreciate the intricacies and finesse of the art of robotics and artificial intelligence, where years of research and cutting-edge technology is fused together in order to strive towards the perfect blend of intellect and functionality. Robotics Exhibition at SOFTEC 2010 will provide all skilful engineers around Pakistan a platform to put their efforts on display, to a much wider audience than otherwise available. This would also be an opportunity to discover the potential of engineers throughout Pakistan and present it to an international presence through the event. This event is the arena of uniqueness, efficiency, technology, artificial intelligence and smart programming. It is an exclusive opportunity for participants to show their pieces of work and for the audience to watch the pinnacle of robot design in Pakistan.

Eligibility

Only three-person teams may register. Each member of the team must be an undergraduate student, i.e. enrolled in an undergraduate degree program at the time of the competition (20th -21st March, 2010).

The robot being put on exhibition must have been developed, constructed and programmed in Pakistan. The idea and implementation of the robot on exhibition must be original
